Supplier Compliance and Stakeholder Engagement

The primary role is to coordinate the planning and overall performance of Wilmar’s Supplier Compliance. The incumbent is responsible for receiving, analysing and coordinating between the various stakeholder parties during the resolution of grievance and supplier compliance with Wilmar’s No Deforestation, No Peat and No Exploitation Policy (NDPE).

Responsibilities

To support the implementation of Wilmar’s Supplier compliance programme to ensure the compliance to Wilmar’s No Deforestation, No Peat and No Exploitation Policy (NDPE).

To support Group’s Grievance Coordinator in ensuring the Group’s own operations, suppliers, Joint Venture partners/business associates on the steps required in addressing and resolving a complaint. This may require developing grievance processes, procedures and workflows, including following-up and communicating grievance status progress towards a complete and satisfactory resolution;

To ensure that all documentation and materials are filed systematically and confidentially at all times. All information must be documented and managed in a transparent, legal and ethical manner;

To conduct field assessment related to supplier compliance and work with different internal and external stakeholders during the process.

To work closely with the Procurement Department, Sustainability Department, Legal department, Human Resources department, GIS department, 3rd-party collaborating partners, stakeholders and assessors/auditors in ensuring supplier’s compliance to Wilmar’s NDPE Policy.

To engage with the Group’s suppliers related to the compliance to Wilmar’s NDPE Policy, to ensure suppliers are aware of our policy and receive the necessary support to implement it in their operations and supply chain.

Qualifications: Education and Experience

Degree in relevant field (Sociology, Law, Development, Conflict/Dispute Management, Forestry, Agriculture or any relevant field);

Minimum 3-5 years working experience in relevant field in the implementation of NDPE

Experience in project management and stakeholder engagements

Experience in supporting the investigation and resolution related to non-compliance to NDPE,including deforestation, and social issue

Proficient in communicating complex issues;

Understanding of the Indonesian government regulations;

In-depth understanding of the NDPE policy requirement

Ability to relate to both corporate and local community culture and management realities;

Competence on planning and organizing workflows, meetings and events;

Analytical with attention to detail; and consequentially make good decisions/ recommendations towards resolution;

Show high level of integrity and trust;

Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia (both written and oral communication skills)

Knowledge of basic Geographic Information System Knowledge of basic ISPO and RSPO Principle and Criteria
