Job summary

PT Surya Multi Cemerlang, part of Grup Platinum Ceramics Industry, seeks an analytical and detail-oriented finance professional with an interest in cost management to join our team. The role focuses on accurate General Ledger recording and monthly close.

You will oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting, ensure compliance with PSAK and Indonesian taxes, and supervise a small team. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 3–5 years’ manufacturing accounting experience are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing.
• Understand full accounting cycle and month-end closing processes.
• Master accounting journals, reconciliation, accruals, adjustments, and financial report preparation.
• Understand PSAK and basics of Indonesian taxation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems (SAP/Oracle/Accurate or similar).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the process of recording and bookkeeping of financial transactions into the General Ledger.
• Ensure journal transactions, accruals, adjustments, and reclassifications are recorded correctly and in accordance with accounting standards.
• Conduct review and reconciliation of GL accounts, including cash/bank, receivables, payables, inventory, fixed assets, and other accounts.
• Oversee the monthly closing process and ensure financial reports are completed on time.
• Analyze account balances and mutations and follow up if there are discrepancies or non-conforming transactions.
• Ensure transaction documentation and supporting documents are complete and in accordance with procedures.

Key responsibilities

Oversee the process of recording and bookkeeping of financial transactions into the General Ledger

Ensure journal transactions, accruals, adjustments, and reclassifications are recorded correctly and in accordance with accounting standards
