Job summary

PT Niro Ceramic Sales Indonesia is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the reliability and performance of granite tile press machines and related equipment at our manufacturing site.

You will plan preventive and predictive maintenance, analyze breakdowns, lead the engineering team, and collaborate with Production to ensure smooth operations while upholding safety standards and TPM practices.

Strong communication in English preferred; experience in TPM and 5S is an advantage.

Qualifications

• SMK graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance, press machines or similar.
• Strong maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability knowledge.
• Able to read drawings and use AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise reliability and performance of granite tile press machines.
• Plan and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance.

Job description

Supervise and ensure the reliability, availability, and optimal performance of granite tile press machines and supporting equipment.

Perform and supervise maintenance and repair activities on granite tile press machines to ensure optimal machine performance and minimize downtime.

Analyze machine breakdowns, conduct technical troubleshooting, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring problems.

Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maintain equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve machine performance, reduce downtime, and support production targets.

Lead and coordinate the Engineering team, ensuring effective collaboration with Production and other related departments to support smooth operations.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintenance procedures, 5S/6S practices, and established Engineering KPIs.

Job Requirements

Minimum SMK (Vocational High School) graduate majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, particularly in the maintenance and repair of press machines or similar industrial equipment.

Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and machine reliability.

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, as well as using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.

Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to work under pressure while handling routine maintenance activities.

Good command of English, both written and spoken, is preferred.

Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S/6S, and continuous improvement practices is an advantage.
