About the role

As a Supervisor Bar dan Cafe at PT Surya Tanjung Jaya, you will play a vital role in overseeing the efficient and seamless operation of the company's bar and cafe facilities located in Batam Kota, Riau Islands. This full-time position will see you responsible for managing a team of bar and cafe staff, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards in all aspects of bar and cafe operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of bar and cafe staff, including bartenders, waiters and baristas
2. Ensure exceptional customer service and a positive dining/drinking experience for all guests
3. Monitor inventory levels and place orders for bar and cafe supplies as needed
4. Oversee the proper handling, storage and service of all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
5. Handle cash management, end-of-day procedures and other administrative duties
6. Implement and enforce company policies, procedures and health & safety standards
7. Provide training and development opportunities for bar and cafe staff
8. Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for improving operations

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within the bar or cafe industry
2. Strong knowledge of bar operations, including liquor laws, inventory management and customer service
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
4. Proficient in cash handling, financial reporting and other administrative tasks
5. Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
6. Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
