Job description

Job Title: Supervisor Accounting

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor Accounting to support our company's financial operations by overseeing accounting functions, managing financial records, and ensuring compliance with legal and financial regulations.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate transaction entry into the system.
  2. Prepare accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, costing, inventory movement, budgeting, cash forecasting, variance analysis, and financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Owner’s Equity Statement, Disclosure for Financial Statement & Cash Flow).
  3. Prepare weekly cash flow reports and maintain the company's cash flow.
  4. Conduct and review inventory audits (stock taking).
  5. Perform month-end and year-end closing accurately and timely.
  6. Advise management on financial controls, improvement strategies, and data security.
  7. Strengthen internal controls within administration.
  8. Establish and review the company's finance Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  9. Improve finance, administration, and accounting processes.
  10. Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits.
  11. Prepare documentation and manuals for finance and accounting staff, and oversee their activities.
  12. Communicate with external parties such as banks, tax authorities, auditors, customers, and suppliers.
  13. Assign projects and supervise staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  14. Schedule tasks and delegate duties to accounting staff.
  15. Assist with ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Age between 30 - 40 years old.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience; professional qualification preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field with certification.
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a critical environment.
  • Strong leadership, target-oriented mindset, analytical skills, discipline, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with online Accurate system.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Mandarin or Hokkien dialect is an advantage.
  • Physically and mentally healthy.
  • Own vehicle and valid SIM A and/or SIM C are preferred.
