Job summary

Aditya Birla Yarn seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead scheduled electrical and electronics maintenance across textile machinery. A Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years in textile/spinning, and strong English communication are required.

The role emphasizes preventive/predictive maintenance, 5S housekeeping, and energy-saving initiatives to ensure uptime and product quality. The candidate will guide a maintenance team, coordinate with production, and ensure spare parts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 7 years of work experience in Electrical Engineering within a textile or spinning company.
• English speaking is a must.
• Understanding of spinning production processes and spinning machines.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Firm, objective, and possessing integrity.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring and review of plant performance activities.
• Ensure timely maintenance for infrastructure for a safe work environment.
• Implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance procedures.
• Monitor schedule of annual shutdown maintenance for electrical and utilities.
• Coordinate with subordinates, production and maintenance.
• Ensure availability of spares for all machines.
• Implement energy-saving activities.
• Regularly monitor stock of spare parts.
• Guide subordinates in 5S housekeeping in the concerned area.
• Identify skill gaps and plan training for team members on technical and WCM concepts.
• Guide subordinates in application of problem-solving tools and maintenance activities.
