Job summary

PT Tradecorp Indonesia seeks a Structural Engineer to perform analysis and design of containers, prepare calculations, and define materials per international standards. The role involves coordinating with EPC disciplines, supervising fabrication, and ensuring compliance with HSE and regulations.

Responsibilities include documenting calculations, reviewing vendor drawings, liaising with clients, and contributing to cost estimates and proposals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Civil and EPC projects.
• 3–5 years experience as a structural engineer.
• Strong knowledge of container and building structure design standards (ISO, BKI, DNV, ASME).
• Proficient in structural design software: AutoCAD, Tekla, Staad Pro, SAP2000 or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations and industry standards.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

• Review and approve vendor/contractor drawings and documents.
• Liaise with clients regarding technical requirements and project progress.
• Provide technical input for cost estimation and project proposals.

Perform structural analysis and design of containers (new or modified) based on project requirements.

Prepare engineering calculations (structural calculation, load analysis, stress analysis, stability).

Define materials and structural specifications according to applicable standards (BKI, ISO, ASTM, or client standards).

Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and construction phases.

Coordinate with EPC disciplines (procurement, civil, mechanical, electrical).

Supervise structural works to ensure compliance with design and standards.

Ensure all designs and execution comply with technical standards, HSE (Health, Safety, Environment), and applicable regulations.

Prepare engineering documentation such as calculation reports, material specifications, and as-built drawings.

Review and approve vendor/contractor technical drawings and documents.

Liaise with clients regarding technical requirements and project progress.

Provide technical input for cost estimation and project proposals.

Qualification :

Min 5 (Five) years relevant in Civil and EPC Project.

Proven experience Minimum 3–5 years of experience as structure engineer

Strong knowledge of container and building structure design standards (ISO, BKI, DNV, ASME).

Proficient in structural design software (AutoCAD, Tekla, Staad Pro, SAP2000, or equivalent).

Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Detail-oriented, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal in english.

Willing to be placed in Menganti, Gresik or Cakung, East Jakarta
