Job summary

PT. Prada Sinergi Bersama in Jakarta is seeking an experienced Ironworker / Structural Steel Fabricator to join our Oil & Gas, infrastructure and offshore projects.

You will assemble, fit, and prepare heavy steel structures in accordance with project specs and safety standards. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years as a Carpenter, strong reading of technical drawings, MEWP/PLE certification, and experience with oxy-fuel torches for preheating and straightening.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Certification and experience operating MEWP/PLE for work at height.
• Experience using oxy-fuel torches for preheating and/or steel straightening operations.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings.
• Assemble and fit structural steel components according to engineering specifications and tolerances.
• Handle and move steel structures and components using overhead cranes.
• Operate MEWP/PLE for work at height.
• Perform preheating and steel straightening activities using oxy-fuel torches.
• Carry out dimensional checks during fabrication and assembly activities.

We are seeking an experienced Ironworker / Structural Steel Fabricator to join major Oil & Gas, infrastructure, and offshore projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and preparing heavy steel structures while ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings.
• Assemble and fit structural steel components according to engineering specifications and tolerances.
• Handle and move steel structures and components using overhead cranes.
• Operate Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP/PLE) for work at height.
• Perform preheating and steel straightening activities using oxy-fuel torches.
• Carry out dimensional checks during fabrication and assembly activities.

Mandatory Requirements (in order of priority)

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience and certification (where required) in the use of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP/PLE).
• Experience using oxy-fuel torches for preheating and/or steel straightening operations.
