Job summary

Mastercard is seeking an Associate Managing Consultant in Strategy & Transformation within Advisors & Consulting Services. The role focuses on helping clients in financial services optimize operations, reduce risk, and enhance digital payments capabilities through data-driven insights and strategic execution.

The team blends traditional consulting with Mastercard’s platforms and data assets, serving a global client base.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with work experience of 7 years and above in operational excellence consulting or business analyst in banks
• Experience in financial services/banks card operations - authorization, settlement, clearing and chargeback processes, technology requirements as well as capabilities
• Experience managing clients and internal stakeholders
• Logical, structured thinking, and affinity for numerical analysis
• Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks with multiple clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and prioritize activities/task to ensure timely delivery
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and the local office language, with good presentation skills both in terms of presentation building and delivering presentations

Responsibilities

• Lead projects across financial services operations and risk initiatives
• Develop operational capabilities design, business requirements and process re-engineering for large, regional, and global clients/internal client
• Contribute to and/or develop operational capabilities design, business requirements and process re-engineering for large, regional, and global clients/internal client
• Plan, organize, and structure own work and that of junior project delivery consultants to identify effective analysis structures to address client problems
• Lead team and external meetings, and lead or co-lead project management
• Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital and solution development
• Grow from coaching to enable ownership of day-to-day project management across client projects, and mentor junior consultants
