Job summary

PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk seeks a Strategy & Reliability Senior Engineer to lead asset management, reliability strategies, and lifecycle programs across sites in Indonesia. You will drive standardization, performance monitoring, and improvements to ensure optimal lifecycle performance and equipment effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10+ years in a similar mining role.
• Strong knowledge of Maintenance Management, RCM, CMMS, PM, and related software.
• Experience with maintenance work management standards and mining plant equipment.
• Familiarity with PLC, Database Management, Reliability Engineering, condition monitoring, oil and vibration analysis.
• Experience with fixed/mobile crushing plants, rotary drums, agglomerators, mills, pumps, tanks, agitators.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop equipment standardization by defining key specifications and reliability processes.
• Monitor asset lifecycle programs with maintenance strategies.
• Implement Asset Management standards across Merdeka sites to improve OEE.
• Provide technical assistance, training, and analysis to operations for proper maintenance and operation.
• Monitor asset performance and recommend improvements to meet OEE targets.
• Investigate and record equipment damage related to maintenance for continuous improvement.
• Prepare and manage the Fixed Plant Asset Management budget and review processes.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategy & Reliability Senior Engineer to join our team in Jakarta, Indonesia.This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and governing asset management, reliability, and equipment standardization strategies across Merdeka operations. This role ensures critical assets achieve optimal lifecycle performance, availability, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) through robust standards, maintenance strategies, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives..

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop technical equipment standarization by defining key specificationsfor critical equipment and reliability management process.
• Develop and monitor critical asset standard life cycle program completedwith asset life cycle and maintenance strategy to identify effective asset life.
• Implement Asset Management standard process across Merdeka sitesto support siteasset operational for asset overall equipment effectiveness target.
• Control asset overall effectiveness by providing technical assistance, trainingand analysis to operational to ensure proper maintenance and operational ofequipment.
• Provide Asset performance monitoring and recommendation for asset improvement to ensure asset performance meet Equipment Overall Effectiveness target.
• Ensure all equipment damage involving maintenance issues are investigatedand recorded as reference for continues improvement and shared across thegroup/all sites.
• Prepare and manage Fixed plant Asset Management Sections budget that include routine monitoring/review process to achievethe budget.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role in the mining industry
• Strong knowledge of Maintenance Management, RCM , CMMS, Project Management and Maintenance Software
• Experience with Maintenance work management standard, Mining equipment, Plant equipment, PLC, Database Management, Reliability Engineering, Condition monitoring, oil analysis, vibration analysis and corrosion
• Experience with fixed and mobile crushing plant, Rotary drums, Agglomerators, mills, Dryers drums,Pumps, tanks, agitators, and general Plant Equipment
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
