Job summary

Grab Indonesia is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive GrabBike and GrabExpress strategy in the Expansion territory. You will lead short- and mid-term planning, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and advise city teams. The role is onsite and based in Jakarta, reporting to the Head of S&P Expansion Territory.

You will manage multiple projects, ensure timely execution, and use data to shape demand and supply. Strong analytics and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a reputable university.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in data analysis, business strategy, project management or consultancy.
• Proven ability to convince stakeholders and gain buy-in for new ideas.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel with complex spreadsheets.
• Experience with SQL, R, or Python is a plus.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

You will be part of the Strategy & Planning team, responsible for driving the GrabBike and GrabExpress business in Grab Indonesia's Expansion territory – the most geographically diverse territory! We leverage data to create demand-generating and supply-shaping strategies to best serve our consumers and partners. Our Strategy & Planning team is made up of Grabbers of various backgrounds – business, statistics, computer science, and engineering – enabling us to have multiple perspectives towards business issues. Get to Know the Role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to be accountable for GrabBike and GrabExpress in Grab Indonesia's Expansion territory. You will manage short- and medium-term strategy formulation, leads and ensures success of several projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams, and serves as an internal advisor for city teams. You will report to the Head of S&P Expansion Territory. This role is onsite and based in Jakarta.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Provide business insights through data analysis, and offer recommendations to improve performance accordingly
• Monitor cities' performance, identify potential issues and propose action plans
• Lead end to end projects (including to initiate, plan, get stakeholders' buy-in, ensure timely execution, evaluate results and iterate)

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor's / Master's degree from reputable universities
• Minimum 4 years of work experience in data analysis, business strategy, project management or consultancy.
• Proven experience in convincing and getting stakeholders' buy-in for new ideas
• Has an eye for details
• Proficiency in excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and data analysis.
• Proficiency in operation programming language (e.g. SQL, R, Phyton) is an added value
• English fluency in written and verbal settings to deliver a clear, concise and consistent message to audiences of various backgrounds
