Job summary

Siemens Energy Indonesia is seeking a current university student for a Strategy and Market Development internship in Jakarta. You will support market research, data management, and presentation tasks to help inform regional strategy across Asia Pacific.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in Business, Economics or Engineering programs, with foundational analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office. No prior work experience is required, internship experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• No prior professional work experience is required; internship experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience in market research and data analysis is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office and Data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and compiling data on market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior in the energy sector.
• Support the analysis of market data to identify opportunities and risks.
• Contribute to the creation of market intelligence reports and summaries for the strategy team.
• Conduct targeted desktop research on specific industry topics as directed by senior team members.
• Assist in maintaining and updating internal databases with market and competitor information.
• Support the preparation of presentation materials, including charts, graphs, and slides for strategic meetings.
• Help organize and structure data in spreadsheets for analysis purposes.
• Provide administrative support for team meetings, including scheduling and preparing minutes.
