As a Strategist, you will be responsible for owning account-based work. You will understand your client’s business and the market they operate in. Beyond that, you will be deeply in tune with their core audience and market trends influencing their decision-making. Armed with this knowledge, your foresight will inform not only upcoming advertising campaigns but also strategic business decisions regarding their brand, products, and ideal consumers.

Additionally, you will keep a constant pulse on the mobile and tech landscape. Understanding the evolution of digital technologies and mediums, and how brands can stay relevant in these spaces, will be key to adding value to our clients and the agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop holistic digital strategies for various business verticals applicable across multiple channels.
  • Create strategic roadmaps with well-articulated foresight based on fact-based analyses.
  • Construct POVs and reports that underpin digital marketing efforts including mobile technology, social platforms, media, and content strategies.
  • Contribute effectively to new business pitches with minimal guidance.
  • Identify consumer mindsets through the customer journey and align business goals with advertising KPIs.
  • Facilitate internal brainstorming sessions for ideation, tactical planning, and agency development.
  • Collaborate with account leads to deliver strategic, differentiated ideas to clients.
  • Work with paid media teams to develop media plans aligned with brand and target objectives.

Program Execution/Support

  • Use quantitative and qualitative skills to unearth insights supporting campaign development.
  • Monitor trends and campaigns through social listening tools to identify relevant insights and assess performance.
  • Guide post-campaign analyses to measure impact and derive learnings for future campaigns.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in digital strategy or media planning
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Deep understanding of the Indonesian consumer market, including local media, e-commerce trends, and behavioral insights
  • Experience with regional or local Indonesian brands in sectors like e-commerce, fintech, telco, or FMCG is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills
  • Proven success in crafting brand/digital/media strategies, with practical knowledge of relevant technologies and tactics
  • Solid research skills and the ability to self-educate on new topics
  • Experience with audience, competitive, and market tools
  • Ability to plan funnels and channels within the Indonesian market, with regional/global recognition
