Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Vertical Solution Expert (VSE) for the Transportation Industry in Jakarta Selatan, Indonesia. The role bridges transportation-sector business needs with enterprise ICT solutions across ports, airports, railways, highways, and logistics infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in transportation industry engagement, with strong presales and solutions consulting experience, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related technical disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience engaging with transportation industry customers (ports, airports, railways, urban transport, highways, logistics).
• Strong background in Presales, Account Management, Key Account Management, or Solution Consulting.
• Experience with transportation operations, industrial automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience supporting ICT solution implementation involving infrastructure, computing, storage, or networking.
• Understanding of IT and OT integration and data communications networks.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary industry solution focal point for transportation-sector enterprise accounts.
• Collaborate with account managers and sales teams to identify opportunities and shape ICT solutions.
• Engage with C-level executives and senior stakeholders within transportation organizations.
• Analyze industry challenges and automation requirements to identify enterprise solution opportunities.
• Translate pain points into scalable ICT and smart transportation solutions aligned with Huawei's portfolio.
• Lead scenario-based solution planning and support end-to-end implementation.
• Support proposals, executive presentations, and solution positioning.
• Coordinate with product, R&D, and delivery teams to ensure feasibility and competitiveness.
