Job summary

PT Merdeka Copper Gold is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Officer in Jakarta to support procurement and sourcing activities for projects and operations. You will coordinate with internal users to gather specifications, quantities, delivery schedules, and budgets to ensure timely availability of goods and services.

You will assist in supplier identification, RFQ preparation, bid evaluations, POs, and P2P coordination.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
At least 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or related function.
Open for fresh graduate.
Strong analytical skills to review quotations and compare offers.
Excellent coordination and communication with internal users and suppliers.
Detail-oriented with solid documentation capabilities.
Able to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement systems.

Responsibilities

Support procurement and sourcing activities to ensure timely availability of goods and services.
Coordinate with internal users to gather requirements, specs, quantities, schedules, and budgets.
Assist in sourcing by identifying potential suppliers and collecting information.
Prepare RFQs, bid evaluations, purchase orders, and related documents.
Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement execution.
Monitor progress and follow up on purchase requests, POs, and supplier commitments.
Support P2P by coordinating with Finance and vendors for timely invoices.
Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and sourcing docs.
Assist in evaluating supplier performance and continuous improvement.
Ensure procurement activities comply with policies and regulations.
