Job summary

Flex is seeking a Production Planner in Batam to translate master production plans into executable schedules and coordinate with manufacturing teams to hit targets and ensure on-time delivery.

The role interfaces with Master Plan, Materials Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, and Production to balance demand, capacity and inventory while driving continuous improvement.

Experience in electronics manufacturing or high-volume environments and strong Excel and ERP knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in Production Planning or Supply Chain roles.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or high-volume environments preferred.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/BAAN/LN/Kinaxis).
• Strong Excel skills and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
• Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly production schedules from master plan.
• Coordinate with Material Planners and Buyers to secure materials.
• Release and manage production work orders and ensure timely execution.
• Monitor schedule adherence and production output, and address deviations.
• Adjust schedules for demand changes, material shortages, and downtime.
• Coordinate plan adjustments due to engineering changes and capacity limits.
• Conduct regular production reviews and escalate delivery risks.
• Prepare production planning reports and performance metrics.
• Support process improvements and NPIs/TPI projects.
• Drive continuous improvement of planning efficiency and productivity.
