Job summary

ISMAYA GROUP in Indonesia seeks a seasoned procurement professional to manage supplier selection, purchasing, and delivery coordination for our Jakarta operations. You will prepare and process purchase orders and maintain accurate transaction records to ensure timely fulfillment.

The role requires strong vendor management, cost negotiation, and leadership to guide the purchasing team while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent and firm leadership and management skills.
• Extensive field knowledge of procurement.
• Ability to direct others according to company standards

Responsibilities

• Researches and compares suppliers, goods, and services.
• Select the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency.
• Request cost proposals and negotiate contracts and prices.
• Resolving supply, quality, service, and invoice issues with vendors.
• Preparing and processing purchase orders.
• Maintaining records of all transactions, purchase orders, receipts, and payments.
• Schedule and verify purchase deliveries.
• Build and maintain positive long-term supplier relationships.
• Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing terms.
• Manages the daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing, and following up on purchase orders delivery, and shipment schedules.
• Evaluate supplier’s performance based on the organization’s criteria.
