Job summary

Paesa Pasindo Engineering, a national private company, seeks a Legal Specialist to manage contracts, risk reviews, compliance, licensing, and litigation support across construction, manufacturing, and renewable energy projects.

The role requires strong drafting and negotiation skills, with experience in Civil and Corporate Law, and the ability to work with external counsel to handle complex matters. Fluency in Indonesian and English is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law; S.H. from a reputable university.
• Minimum 3–5 years in-house legal or law-firm associate roles.
• Experience in Construction Services, Renewable Energy, or Manufacturing/Heavy Equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (construction, hotmix sales, equipment rental, and partnerships) in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Conduct contract risk reviews to ensure alignment with risk management standards.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across Construction, Electricity (PLTMH/renewable energy), Environmental, Labor, and Trade laws.
• Manage and monitor licenses (NIB, OSS-related licenses, PLTMH licenses) through OSS and authorities.
• Identify legal risks, provide mitigation, handle notices or simple claims, and prepare documentation for disputes.
• Coordinate with external corporate lawyers for escalations and complex matters.
• Conduct legal research and maintain organized corporate documents (articles of association, licenses, contracts).
