Job summary

Center for Indonesian Policy Studies seeks a Finance and Accounting Executive for a 6-month contract to support the finance department. The role reports to the Head of Finance and Administration and focuses on routine financial reporting, closings, and audit readiness.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Accounting and Finance, 5+ years in accounting/auditing, Tax Brevet A & B, and proficiency in Excel and major accounting software. Proficient English is required for stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance (S.E./S.Ak.) is required.
• Minimum 5 years of professional accounting/auditing experience.
• Must hold Tax Brevet A & B certification.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software (Jurnal/Accurate/Zahir).
• Strong English communication (written and verbal) at least B1 CEFR.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports (I/S, B/S, cash flow) for leadership.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing with accurate journal entries and reconciliations.
• Produce monthly dashboards showing financial status and KPIs.
• Distribute Budget vs. Actual reports for all departments and projects.
• Coordinate with project teams to monitor Budget vs. Actual expenditures.
