Job summary

Performa Optima Group in Surabaya is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations across a multisegment distribution network. You will lead cost reporting, budgeting, and internal controls to support growth and compliance in Indonesia.

The role requires a CA qualification (preferred) and 5+ years of relevant experience in trading or corporate settings. Strong Excel skills and independent coordination with auditors and tax advisors are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent from a reputable university.
• Preferably with CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification.
• More than 5 years of relevant and practical experience in a trading or corporate environment.
• Comfortable working independently and coordinating with external legal, banking, and tax advisors.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sharp attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with finance leadership to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the local Company’s day-to-day accounting and finance activities, focusing on accurate and timely costing.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely collections and payments.
• Lead the monthly closing of accounts, ensuring the timely preparation and submission of comprehensive cost reports and analysis.
• Spearhead and coordinate the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts related to the commercial entity.
• Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, policies, and internal controls related to the commercial entity.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, legal counsel, bankers, corporate secretaries, and relevant local government authorities to ensure compliance and address costing-related financial reporting matters.
• Manage basic HR responsibilities, including employee record-keeping and performance evaluations.
• Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
