Job summary

Minor Food seeks a Cost Control Specialist in Indonesia to lead COGS variance analysis, inventory control, and cost optimization across operations and supply chain. You will partner with Finance, Operations, and Marketing to maintain cost integrity and support audits.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics and at least four years of cost control experience in F&B or retail, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Cost Control, preferably in F&B, hospitality, or retail.
• Strong knowledge of food cost, inventory control, stock movement, purchasing, wastage, and cost analysis.
• Experienced in inventory reconciliation, stock variance analysis, and audit compliance.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ESB.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work across cross-functional teams.
• Able to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• COGS & Variance Analysis: Prepare cost estimation reports for sales, lead monthly COGS performance reviews, and highlight raw material variances to operations.
• End-to-End Cost & Inventory Control: Manage purchasing, inventory movements, and consumption analysis; investigate variances, stock counts, wastage, and cost anomalies with Supply Chain and Operations teams.
• Menu Engineering & NPD Collaboration: Coordinate with Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain for product ordering, promotional preparations, and NPDs by evaluating recipe costing and margins.
• Audit Support & Compliance: Support audits with accurate financial documentation, ensuring cost accuracy and financial integrity across workflows.
• Branch Coordination & Supply Monitoring: Verify and coordinate monthly account closing for COGS and review operational product orders.
• Process Improvement: Review financial and operational processes to identify improvements, automation, and documentation updates.
• System & Master Data Governance: Support Chart of Accounts maintenance and ERP master data management.
