Job summary

Puratos in Jakarta is seeking a highly analytical and business‑oriented Business Controller to join the Finance team. This role will drive financial performance, support strategic decision‑making, and ensure strong governance across the organization.

You will partner with Commercial, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to analyze performance, develop and monitor KPIs, and provide actionable insights to guide growth initiatives while ensuring IFRS and local accounting standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• 5–10 years in business controlling, FP&A, or commercial finance.
• Experience in manufacturing or multinational environment preferred.
• Knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Experience with ERP and reporting tools (SAP, Power BI, BFC, QlikView).
• Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CA) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Analyze business performance, profitability, and financial results.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Partner closely with Commercial, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Support investment evaluations and business growth initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies, and reporting standards.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital performance.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
