Job summary

Metland Seva Seminyak is urgently seeking a Steward on a daily worker contract. The successful candidate will wash and clean all kitchen utensils, maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and dishwashing areas, and support the kitchen team in a fast-paced hotel environment.

You should be disciplined, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team, with flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Steward in a hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment.
• Familiar with kitchen cleaning, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Able to operate and maintain dishwashing and kitchen equipment properly.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good discipline, responsibility, and attention to cleanliness.
• Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean all kitchen utensils, plates, glasses, and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, dishwashing area, and surrounding areas.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and stored.
• Assist the kitchen team with basic cleaning and preparation tasks when required.
• Handle garbage disposal according to hotel procedures.
• Maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Support the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow all hotel safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
