Job summary

PT. Generale Facility Solution (GFS) is seeking a Steward to support the daily operations of our workers’ mess in Cikarang.

The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in dining and kitchen areas, washing and sanitizing dining equipment, and assisting with daily mess operations. The ideal candidate is hardworking, disciplined, and able to work well as part of a team, with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
• Previous experience as Steward, Kitchen Helper, Dishwasher, Waiter/Waitress, or Mess Attendant is preferred.
• Good personal hygiene and a strong sense of cleanliness.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning and kitchen-related tasks.
• Willing to work in shifts, including weekends or holidays when required.
• Hardworking, disciplined, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a workers’ mess, catering company, restaurant, hotel, or similar environment is an advantage.
• Willing to be placed in Cikarang, Jawa Barat.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area, kitchen, and surrounding areas.
• Wash, clean, and sanitize plates, glasses, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
• Clean and arrange tables and chairs before and after meal times.
• Assist with food serving and dining area preparation.
• Collect and dispose of food and general waste properly.
• Ensure all dining utensils and equipment are clean and ready for use.
• Assist the kitchen and mess team with daily operational activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area at all times.
• Follow proper hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties related to mess operations as assigned.
