Minimum Education Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in database, network, or system administration.
  • System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or related fields are a plus.
Key Skills and Responsibilities
  • Maintain, configure, and ensure reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization environments.
  • Install and upgrade hardware and software, manage virtual servers, and automate processes.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, document problems and solutions, and assess impact.
  • Provide documentation and technical specifications for planning and upgrading IT infrastructure.
  • Perform backups, implement data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
  • Lead desktop and helpdesk support, ensuring timely resolution of issues with minimal disruption.
  • Manage capacity planning, storage, and database performance.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and Active Directory administration.
Additional Skills
  • Understanding of ISO standards (ISO-9001/27001) and ability to implement related processes and policies.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware.
  • Strong understanding of systems, networking software, hardware, and protocols.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools.
  • Expertise in helpdesk and IT operations, including security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills; availability outside working hours for emergency support.
Experience

Minimum of 3+ years in relevant roles.
