About the role

PT Young Indonesia Pratama is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented STAFF PURCHASING IMPORT to join our dynamic procurement team. This full-time position is based in Green Lake Tangerang Banten and will play a crucial role in managing our international purchasing and inventory operations.

What you'll be doing

• Responsible for goods purchase (import and local) process.
• Communicate with Forwarding for import process, PIB, customs clearance, etc.
• Prepare import documentation in accordance with Customs regulations and requirements.
• Stay up to date with import regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements relevant to the company's operations.
• Search for the best suppliers for comparison.
• Monitor PO and delivery schedule from supplier and customer.
• Monitor AR and coordinate with Finance to ensure timely invoicing.
• Coordinate with relevant parties (customer/shipping/suppliers) to ensure delivery and related matters are handled efficiently.
• Experience in processing LS and PI.
• Develop and maintain a filing system.
• Perform other responsibilities as needed.

What we're looking for

• Hold a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in management, communication, economics, or equivalent from a reputable university.
• Proficient in Business English (coordinate with foreigners).
• Able to multitask, meticulous, good communication, organized, and possess good coordination skills.
• Active, initiative, able to work in a team and independently.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Exim or similar position.
• Understanding of customs clearance process at ports is a must.
• Able to join immediately preferred.
