About the role

PT Young Industry Indonesia, a leading manufacturing company in the heart of Cileungsi West Java, is seeking a talented and driven STAFF PURCHASING IMPORT to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in managing the import of essential materials and components, ensuring the smooth operation and growth of our manufacturing business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Responsible for goods purchase (import and local) process.
  2. Communication with Forwarding for import process, PIB, custom clearance, etc.
  3. Responsible for preparing import documentation in accordance with Customs regulations and requirements.
  4. Understand and stay up to date with import regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements relevant to the company's operations.
  5. Searching for the best suppliers for comparison.
  6. Monitoring PO and delivery schedule from supplier and Customer.
  7. Monitor AR and coordinate with Finance to ensure timely invoicing.
  8. Coordinate with relevant parties (customer/shipping/suppliers) to ensure the delivery and other related matters are handled efficiently and effectively.
  9. Have experience to process LS and PI.
  10. Develop and maintain filing system.
  11. Other responsibilities as needed.

What we're looking for

  1. Hold Diploma or bachelor’s degree from management, communication, economic or equivalent from reputable university.
  2. Business English proficiency (coordinate with foreigners).
  3. Able to multitask, meticulous, good communication, organized, and good coordination skill.
  4. Active and initiative person, able to work in team and independently.
  5. Having experience in Exim or same position minimum 1 year.
  6. Understand to customs clearance process at port is a must.
