Overview

About the role – As a Staff Fragrance Evaluator at SINAR ANTJOL GROUP (B29), you will play a crucial role in the Product Marketing and Development team. This full-time position is based in Jakarta Barat and involves evaluating and assessing the quality and characteristics of fragrances for the company’s product lines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive sensory evaluations of fragrance samples to assess their olfactory characteristics, intensity, and overall quality.
• Provide detailed feedback and recommendations from the product development team to the fragrance houses.
• Collaborate with the research and development team to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in the fragrance industry.
• Prepare, conduct and monitor fragrance panel tests with related divisions.
• Participate in the development of new fragrance products and the enhancement of existing ones.
• Document and track the progress of fragrance-related projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or any related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fragrance evaluation, preferably in the consumer products or cosmetics industry, or strong passion for fragrance-related products.
• Excellent sensory perception and the ability to accurately describe and differentiate fragrances.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Familiarity with fragrance evaluation techniques, such as odour profiling and sensory analysis.
• Passion for fragrance-related products and a keen interest in staying up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations.
• Experience as Fragrance Advisor or Beauty Advisor is welcome to apply.
• Good personality and communicative.
• Fluent in English is a must.
