Job summary

Wahana Visi Indonesia is seeking a Strategy, Risk, Innovation & Evidence (SRIE) Director to lead the development, execution, monitoring and reporting of the country strategy, and ensure alignment across departments and programs while managing enterprise risks and knowledge initiatives.

The role sits on the Executive Leadership Team, shaping policy, safeguarding practices, and fostering innovation and accountability within a Christian humanitarian context.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a leadership role in relief/development or corporate strategic planning and program management.
• Min. 3 years experience in program design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and risk/incident management.
• Preferably a Master’s Degree in Strategy Management, Economics, Social Studies, Engineering, or related subject.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Certifications in strategic planning, risk management, or evidence-based practices are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate the development, execution, monitoring and review, reporting and communication of the country strategy for Wahana Visi Indonesia.
• Cascade the country strategy to annual implementation plans for departments and programs and manage strategy reviews.
• Develop thematic/functional strategies and implementation plans aligned with the country strategy.
• Lead strategy for strategic partnering, including direction, policy, guidelines, and staff capacity building.
• Engage with the Strategy Support Team (SST), and facilitate regular meetings/workshops with SST members.
