Job summary

WeConnect Technology Philippines is hiring a telecom engineering professional to monitor wireless network performance, identify issues, and drive timely resolutions. The role emphasizes proactive planning, deployment and clear communication with customers.

You will plan and execute optimization activities (upgrades, system expansions, feature deployments), interpret contract clauses, and coordinate progress. You’ll also lead capability building within the wireless network optimization team.

Qualifications

• Familiar with GSM/LTE/NR basics and mobile standards; 2+ years in telecom engineering/implementation.
• Strong communication, reliability, team spirit and customer service mindset.
• Proficient in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).

Responsibilities

• Monitor wireless network performance and identify, track, and resolve issues.
• Plan, implement, and communicate wireless optimization activities (upgrades, expansions, features, events).

Job Responsibilities

• 1. Responsible for wireless network performance monitoring, as well as identifying, tracking, and resolving network issues and risks.
• 2. Responsible for planning, implementation, and customer communication of wireless network optimization activities (including but not limited to version upgrades, system expansion, feature deployment, and key event support).
• 3. Organize and participate in various forms of customer communication activities; responsible for preparing and presenting materials, as well as collecting customer issues and requirements.
• 4. Responsible for interpreting wireless network optimization clauses in contracts, breaking down tasks, identifying risks, and continuously monitoring implementation progress.
• 5. Organize and lead capability building of the wireless network optimization team, including staffing assessment and optimization.

Job Requirements

• 1. Familiar with GSM/LTE/NR basic principles, mobile communication standards, protocols and radio Optimization, with more than 2 years of experience in Telecommunication engineering implementation and network maintenance.
• 2. Outgoing personality, logical thinking, good communication skills, self-discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• 3. Possess strong communication skills, team spirit, customer service awareness, and a goal-oriented mindset.
• 4. Have a certain level of proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
• 5. Work proactively and diligently, with a high sense of responsibility and strong execution capability.
