Job Overview

• As our business continues its upward trajectory, we are in the process of expanding our Quality Assurance (QA) team to accommodate the growing demands of testing various client projects—a key factor in driving our profitability. This expansion necessitates the inclusion of skilled middle-level QA engineers who can actively collaborate with our talented team, contributing their expertise to our projects. Middle-level QA candidates in this role will operate with varying degrees of supervision, possessing a solid foundation of fundamental domain knowledge. They are expected to adeptly execute a spectrum of tasks within their specialized field and play a role in addressing routine issues as they arise. These individuals are integral to ensuring the smooth execution and quality of our testing processes, thereby supporting our overarching business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive manual testing of software applications to ensure the highest quality standards and adherence to specifications.
• Take ownership of complex issues, reproducing and analyzing production problems, and driving them to closure.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks in the early stages of development.
• Design, develop, and review detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features and functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality goals, prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Oversee and execute regression testing, and champion the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
• Document and communicate test results, track defects, and provide clear, actionable feedback to stakeholders.
• Mentor and support QA team members, providing guidance, reviews, and onboarding assistance as needed.
• Manage testing activities across multiple projects and teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Stay current with new testing tools, strategies, and industry trends, and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.

Capabilities

• Demonstrate deep and practical knowledge of manual testing, QA methodologies, and best practices.
• As a Senior Manual QA Engineer, independently create and review detailed test cases, perform end-to-end and exploratory testing, and ensure quality benchmarks are met within agreed timelines.
• Exhibit strong leadership and communication skills, effectively collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.
• Quickly learn and apply new information, tools, and processes, especially in the context of AI-driven development.
• Provide mentorship, feedback, and support to teammates, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in quality assurance, software testing, or a similar role, with a focus on manual testing.
• Expertise in manual testing methodologies, test case formulation, and test execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficient in English at a business level, with excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong motivation to utilize and learn about AI technology.
• Ability to maintain a productive remote work environment with a stable internet connection.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results.
