The Sr. Professional, Chemical Engineering role, in Indonesia will enhance product quality and lead strategic chemical and sustainable projects from concept to manufacturing. Will apply Design of Experiment (DoE) methodology with robust data analysis to draw conclusions and provide solutions for development and manufacturing challenges. Furthermore, this role will function as the subject matter expert in bottom component technology for product creation teams during the development stage, proactively identifying and mitigate potential manufacturing hurdles. This includes validating cutting-edge technologies to ensure their readiness for manufacturing. The position requires comfort with ambiguous situations, the ability to devise solutions to complex problems, and leadership in advancing factory partners' capabilities, such as supporting the ramp-up of new chemical facilities while maintaining stringent quality standards.

Your Impact

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following

  • Implement UA standard formulas at all sole suppliers and develop new formulations as necessary
  • Partner with Costing to provide the technical expertise to the UA costing program for soles
  • Implement sole manufacturing best practices and Implement sole manufacturing audit system
  • Improve sole program documentation as necessary
  • Implement UA bonding best practices and Implement bonding audits and assist problem solving for bonding defects
  • Lead VOC reduction activities
  • Publish key performance indicators for soles and bonding
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Proven track record of implementing formulations and bonding systems
  • Excellent written and oral English
  • Excellent presentation, problem solving and leadership skills
