Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for developing and reviewing mechanical engineering deliverables during the tendering and proposal phase of projects. This includes preparing technical documentation, evaluating client specifications, and supporting bid strategies to ensure competitive and compliant submissions.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Analyze documents and technical specifications to define mechanical scope.

Develop mechanical design concepts, layouts, and preliminary calculations for proposals.

Prepare and review pre-award engineering deliverables such as datasheets, equipment lists, and technical clarifications.

Collaborate with procurement and estimation teams to define material and equipment requirements.

Liaise with vendors and subcontractors for technical inputs and quotations.

Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.

Support risk assessments and value engineering initiatives during bid preparation.

Participate in technical meetings and presentations as needed

REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience as Mechanical Engineer including handling pre-award.
