Job description

As Sr. Business Analyst I, you'll work as part of an agile scrum team gathering requirements, writing and refining user stories and epics, developing acceptance criteria, performing QA testing on development work, and collaborating with stakeholders in a federal government space to deliver new features and functionality to a suite of web applications.

What you'll do:
  1. Attend all agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement meetings, and Retrospectives.
  2. Collaborate with developers, scrum masters, UX/UI specialists, and government stakeholders to enhance and deliver new features to a suite of web applications.
What you'll need to succeed:
  1. Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability.
  2. 5+ years as a business analyst in an agile software development environment.
  3. 5+ years writing user stories in Jira or a similar program.
  4. 5+ years of experience performing functional QA testing in support of user stories.
  5. Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with various stakeholders to reach consensus and deliver value.
  6. Experience building out and tracking epics for the delivery of new web application functionality.
  7. Experience reporting on development project progress to leadership.
  8. Experience working with developers, testers, and UX designers to refine requirements and create system wireframes and documentation.
  9. Understanding of basic web development elements, including HTML/CSS/JS.
