Job summary

PT Sigma Global Teknologi in Tangerang Selatan, Banten, Indonesia, seeks a Senior Android Kotlin Developer to join our banking-focused team ASAP. You will design, build, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and modern Android architectures.

You will collaborate with Product, Backend, QA, and DevOps, ensure security and performance, and work under Sigmatech contract with a Work From Office arrangement. 5+ years of experience and strong UI/UX practices are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Min 5 years of Android app development experience.
• Strong Kotlin and/or Java proficiency.
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack Components.
• Familiar with MVVM, RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Android mobile apps for banking services.
• Translate requirements and UI/UX designs into high-quality apps.
• Collaborate with product, backend, QA, and DevOps across the SDLC.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and backend microservices.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Ensure security, reliability, and compliance with banking standards.
• Contribute to code reviews and development standards improvement.
• Prepare technical documentation per SDLC guidelines.
• Support deployment, releases, and post-implementation monitoring.
• Stay updated with Android technologies and propose architecture improvements.

• Translate business requirements and UI/UX designs into high‑quality, scalable, and maintainable Android applications.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Business Analyst, UI/UX Designer, Backend Developer, QA Engineer, and DevOps throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Integrate Android applications with RESTful APIs and backend microservices.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and application performance optimization.
• Ensure application security, reliability, and compliance with banking security standards.
• Fix defects and provide production support for application issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.
• Prepare technical documentation in accordance with SDLC and project governance requirements.
• Support application deployment, release management, and post‑implementation monitoring.
• Stay updated with Android technologies and recommend improvements to application architecture and development practices.
