Job summary

PT Adicipta Inovasi Teknologi seeks a Database Administrator to manage MS SQL Server environments, optimize performance, and implement high availability. You will monitor security, perform backups, and support customer requirements with strong analytical skills.

The role requires deep SQL Server knowledge, experience with replication and monitoring tools, and the ability to work actively in a tech-focused team in Jakarta Barat.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, technology or related field.
• Deep understanding of MS SQL Server including advanced querying and replication.
• Knowledge of RDBMS concepts (PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• 2+ years maintaining and troubleshooting user management, performance, indexing and backup/restore.
• Experience with database backup/restore and RDS snapshots.
• Knowledge of high availability and replication (streaming, cluster).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Understanding of data masking and database security.
• Hands-on with database standards and end-user applications.

Job description

• Provide support to resolve customer complaint
• Analyze root cause, and resolution for any problem assigned
• Support the team in daily database management.
• Execute backup/restore procedures and performance monitoring.
• Assist with the implementation of high availability and replication.
• Maintain data security in accordance with company standards.
• Review resolution for incident and problem to ensure the resolution are appropriate, comprehensive, and feasible
• Monitor database performance to ensure high levels of security and speed
• Proactively learn and utilize new technologies, concepts and procedures as appropriate to customer requirements

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study
• Deep understanding of MS SQL Server including Advance Querying, Database Mirroring, AlwaysOn (AAG), Log Shipping, Replication etc.
• Understanding of RDBMS concepts (PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in maintaining & troubleshooting User Management, Performance Issue, Indexing, SQL Agent, Linked Server, and Backup/Restore activity.
• Basic experience with database backup and restore, including RDS snapshots.
• Knowledge of High Availability & Replication (streaming, logical, cluster).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (pg_stat_statements, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Understanding of data masking and database security.
• Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
