Supports a variety of functions that help the sales function, mapping and standardization and implementation for the sales team. Provides dotted line management to the Sales support reps.
Leadership and Direction
- Define role, responsibilities and management process of Sales Support & Pricing functions.
- Salesforce regional and country point of contact and also engages in the training of a customer relationship management system to front line Sales & Sales Supports (e.g. Salesforce – power user regional point of contact and trainer).
- Provides training such as leads cold call prospecting & the creation routing guides and sales proposal templates.
- Provide marketing material training & supervision of front-line Sales Supports to deliver, as a key resource for Sales, generated quotation.
- The position trains & submission of LP creation & coding.
Customer Service
- Participate, support & involvement with Sales and Sales Support process mapping standardization and implementation.
- Help BD's and KAMs engage with customers in more educated conversations, provide support, bulletins and training of APLL’s services with the different product support covering administrative duties such as strategic planning, implementation, capacity management and related reporting with specific relevance to the Country and Region.
Operations
- Gather and distribute market information to support Sales efforts.
- Identify sources and develop process to regularly feed region team of BD's and KAMs with information pertaining to the market.
- Works with the Sales Support team to prospect new accounts and serve with administration duties such as working to update price guide and post in their shared drives.
- Serves as backups on (Pricing) duties for country and SEA Region such as manually filing buy rates of LCL, FCL, Air, Trucking rates, local tariffs and also freight related surcharges into CargoSphere RMS and also supporting the internal APLL ILS Sales force providing management to house sell rate.
- The creation of Salesforce pipeline and activity reports weekly.
- Delivery of Country Regional Sales Budget (REV/CM).
Qualification
• University Degree, preferably majoring in Economic, Foreign Trade, Supply Chain / Logistics or related majors.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry.
- Relevant work experience in a supply chain division of an MNC or 3PL.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies.
- Focused and goal-oriented.
