Job description

Job Title: Spare Parts Department Manager

Manage daily operations of the spare parts department.

Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain optimal stock.

Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices, terms, and delivery schedules.

Coordinate with service and workshop teams to ensure parts availability for repairs and maintenance.

Supervise and train warehouse and parts department staff.

Monitor obsolete or slow-moving stock and develop strategies to minimize losses.

Ensure the availability of fast-moving parts.

Develop and implement stock control systems to prevent overstocking or stockouts.

Supervise warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of parts.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as turnover rates and order accuracy.

Implement safety and cleanliness standards within the parts department.

Provide excellent customer service to internal departments and external clients.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in spare parts and warehouse management, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse operations.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle components, OEM and aftermarket parts.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, AutoFluent, Dealer Management Systems).
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
