Job summary

Aman Group Sarl is seeking a Spa Therapist for its luxury Aman property in Kedewatan, Ubud, Bali. You will provide exceptional spa experiences, perform massages, facials, body treatments, and other services with discretion and a personalized approach.

You will consult with guests, explain treatments, maintain room readiness, follow safety and hygiene standards, and collaborate with the spa and hotel teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• Professional certification in Spa Therapy or related treatments is required.
• 1–3 years in luxury hotels or high-end wellness environments preferred.
• Good English communication and guest-relations skills essential.
• Maintain high hygiene, presentation, and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Consult with guests to understand needs and wellness objectives; recommend treatments.
• Explain available spa treatments, procedures, benefits, and aftercare.
• Suggest spa products and services based on guest preferences.
• Prepare and deliver branded and non-branded treatments per standards.
• Follow spa reception protocols and treatment-room procedures before, during, and after.

• Record treatment details and communicate guest feedback to reception.

Location Overview Join our team in Amandari. Presided over by a sacred stone tiger, Amandari was designed after a traditional Balinese village on the verdant lip of the Ayung River Gorge. Free-standing guest suites are reached via winding pathways, while the curving swimming pool mimics the rice paddies below. Role

As a Spa Therapist at Amandari, Kedewatan, Ubud, your mission is to provide exceptional and personalized spa experiences that enhance the physical and emotional well-being of each guest. You will perform a range of professional spa treatments, including massages, facials, body treatments, manicures, pedicures, hair removal, body wraps, and other wellness and beauty services. You will understand each guest's individual preferences and needs, recommend appropriate treatments and products, and deliver warm, discreet, and personalized service in keeping with luxury hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

• Consult with guests to understand their individual needs, preferences, and wellness objectives, and recommend appropriate treatments.


• Clearly explain available à la carte treatments, procedures, benefits, and aftercare recommendations.


• Recommend and present appropriate spa products and services based on each guest's needs and preferences.


• Follow established procedures and standards for the preparation and delivery of all branded and non-branded treatments.


• Follow spa reception protocols and treatment-room procedures before, during, and after each treatment.


• Perform professional spa treatments safely, confidently, and consistently to the required standards.


• Record details of treatments provided and communicate relevant guest feedback to the Spa Reception team.


• Follow daily opening and closing procedures and complete all required checklists.


• Prepare treatment rooms, changing areas, linens, equipment, and products according to established standards.


• Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, discreet, and personalized service throughout the guest experience.


• Respond promptly, professionally, and accurately to guest requests and concerns.


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in all treatment rooms and spa areas.


• Thoroughly clean and reset treatment rooms after every treatment.


• Follow treatment schedules, daily assignments, and instructions provided by the Spa Manager.


• Comply with all hotel policies, procedures, health and safety requirements, and spa standards.


• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance that reflects and promotes the image and values of Amandari.


• Maintain excellent personal hygiene and grooming standards at all times.


• Keep the therapist uniform clean, neat, and in excellent condition.


• Ensure all treatment equipment and tools are clean, sanitized, and properly maintained.


• Work collaboratively with the Spa and hotel teams to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience.

Requirements

• Professional certification in Spa Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Massage Therapy, or related treatments.


• 1-3 years of experience as a Spa Therapist, preferably within a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end wellness environment.


• Good proficiency in English.


• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and guest-relations skills.


• Passionate about wellness, beauty, and delivering personalized guest experiences.


• Professional, discreet, warm, and service-oriented personality.


• Flexible and adaptable with the ability to respond to changing guest needs and operational requirements.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, presentation, and service.
