THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced, innovative, and community-drivenSpa Manager to lead our current soft launch period and ongoing operations of our new spa in the future. This role requires someone who not only excels in running spa operations but also has the creativity to help shape and develop our spa concept.

This is a leadership role for someone passionate about wellness, eager to think outside the box, and well-connected within Uluwatu and Bali.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Spa Soft Launch Period:
• Collaborate with the management team to develop the spa concept, including massage, body and beauty treatments, ambiance, and guest experience.
• Assist in sourcing unique wellness treatments, equipment, and products to set the spa apart.

• Daily Operations:
• Oversee all spa operations, ensuring seamless and high-quality guest experiences.
• Lead, train, and inspire the spa team to deliver exceptional service and uphold luxury standards.
• Monitor spa bookings, schedules, and staff assignments to optimize efficiency.

• Guest Experience:
• Introduce contemporary wellness programs like sound baths, breath-work, yoga, and other holistic treatments.
• Customize guest offerings to include unique and culturally inspired experiences.

• Community Connections:
• Leverage relationships within the Bali wellness community to attract top talent, suppliers, and collaborators.
• Build partnerships with local wellness practitioners to offer special events and workshops.

• Sustainability & Innovation:
• Work with management to incorporate Eco-friendly practices and sustainable product sourcing.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of experience in spa management at a boutique or luxury hotel.
• Proven experience in developing or contributing to spa concepts or pre-opening projects.
• Well-connected within the wellness and hospitality community in Uluwatu and Bali.
• Knowledge of contemporary wellness practices, including sound baths, breath-work, yoga, or other holistic therapies (nice to have).
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a passion for delivering luxury service.
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
