Roles & Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Procurement
- Conduct sourcing activities for logistic transportation, including supplier identification, qualification, and selection.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and develop sourcing strategies that meet those requirements.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
Supplier Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and service levels.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, conduct periodic reviews, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers to enhance the supplier base and drive competitive advantage.
Cost Management
- Analyze cost structures and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets and ensure that all procurement activities are within the allocated budget.
Risk Management
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements in all procurement activities.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Utilize data analytics tools to assess procurement performance, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
- Prepare regular reports on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and cost savings to inform management decisions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of bachelor's degree from any related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain analysis, with a strong focus on commodities related to Land Transport will be preferable.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
