Job summary

Esri Indonesia is seeking a Solution Architect to lead enterprise GIS solution design, translating business requirements into scalable, integrated architectures. You will collaborate with Sales, Solution Engineers, and customers to ensure high-quality, standardized implementations that align with strategic objectives.

The role focuses on ArcGIS platform deployment, system integration, and architecture governance, enabling growth and long-term success for government and enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Geography, Geodesy, Geoscience or related field.
• 3+ years of geospatial or data analytics solution implementation.
• Strong expertise in enterprise solution architecture for GIS.
• Solid foundation in RDBMS (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL) and server environments.
• Experience delivering end-to-end architecture (planning, design, development, deployment).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to scalable, integrated, enterprise-ready ArcGIS-based solutions.
• Define best practices for deploying ArcGIS and integrating with non-Esri platforms.
• Advise customers on innovative Esri solutions to improve decisions.
• Prepare ESRI software implementation and migration strategies with customers.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Solution Engineering to develop architectures.
• Understand system integration and database concepts for proposed solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to strengthen solution competitiveness.
• Ensure standardization and perform technical QC on proposals and designs.
• Distill complex findings into clear, business-friendly executive summaries.

We are looking for a Solution Architect to join our Indonesia team and play a pivotal role in designing enterprise technology solutions by transforming business requirements into scalable, integrated, and future-ready architectures, while ensuring solution quality, standardization, and strong alignment with customer expectations, operational needs, and strategic business objectives.

About the Role

You will Be the Solution Architect who can bridge business needs and technical capabilities, designing scalable, integrated, and future-ready solutions that drive real business impact.

In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders, Sales teams, and Solution engineers to transform requirements into robust architecture designs that support growth, efficiency, and long-term success.

You will play a key role in ensuring solution quality, technology standardization, and seamless integration across the organization while delivering exceptional outcomes for customers and end users.

What you will be doing:

• Contribute to sustainable, profitable growth across key government accounts Assess, design and architect ArcGIS-platform based scalable, integrated, and enterprise-ready technology solutions aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
• Define best practices for deploying ArcGIS platform and design systems, including integration to non-Esri platforms, to meet business needs.
• Exercising excellent judgement, advise customers on innovative, effective, and creative solutions using Esri technology and content to help them make better decisions.
• Recommend relevant strategies, architectures, and solutions and work with customers to prepare Esri software implementation and migration strategies.
• Collaborate closely with Business Development and Solution Engineering team to develop conceptual and physical technology architectures based on customer needs.
• Understand integration with other system, understand database concept for proposed solution
• Explore, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies, products, and solution approaches to drive innovation and strengthen solution competitiveness.
• Establish solution standardization and perform technical quality control for proposals and solution designs to ensure consistency, scalability, reliability, and implementation readiness.
• Executive summary writing, with the ability to distill complex findings into clear, concise narratives using business-friendly language.

About You

• Experience in GIS, geospatial, or data-driven solutions is highly valued Bachelor’s degree in IT, Geography, Geodesy, Geoscience, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in geospatial or data analytics solution implementation.
• Strong expertise in enterprise solution architecture, particularly GIS, covering logical and physical design, and end-to-end delivery (planning, design, development, and deployment).
• Solid technical foundation in RDBMS (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL), server environments (Windows/Linux), and modern architecture patterns (SOA, cloud, and hybrid configurations).
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand user needs and effectively communicate actionable solutions to stakeholders.
• High learning agility and curiosity, with strong motivation to explore and adopt emerging technologies.
• Familiarity with Esri products and geospatial analysis, along with knowledge of security architectures (e.g., zero trust, cross-domain services), and relevant certifications (e.g., Esri Enterprise Administration/ System Design) are considered advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills in Bahasa and English (verbal and written).
• Act as the bridge between business and technical stakeholders
