Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of BeED's SaaS projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in managing complex SaaS implementations and migrations, combined with solid technical knowledge in databases (particularly MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL) and working proficiency in Angular, Node.js, and .NET development environments.

This role also demands strong interpersonal skills — the ideal candidate must be a people person who works well across teams and departments, fostering collaboration among engineers, designers, QA, product owners, and business stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of SaaS projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects.
• Design and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Work closely with development teams to oversee system architecture and data migration efforts.
• Mitigate risks and resolve issues to maintain project momentum.
• Communicate project updates, milestones, and blockers with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Ensure technical documentation and post-implementation reviews are in place.
• Drive agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives) and encourage agile best practices.
• Build strong working relationships with cross-functional departments and inspire teamwork across all levels.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager in SaaS or software development environments.
• Strong background in database management and data migration, especially between MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Good understanding of Angular, Node.js, and .NET – not necessarily at a developer level, but sufficient to communicate effectively with development teams and understand technical implications.
• Exceptional project management skills with demonstrated ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in project management tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be a people person – able to foster team collaboration, resolve interpersonal conflicts, and align stakeholders across departments.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
• This position is based in Malaysia.

• Experience in EdTech or education-related platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) is a bonus.
