We seek passionate Engineers to work on iOS driver apps used by millions daily. Initiative, problem-solving mindset, and technical skills are crucial. The role reports to the Senior Software Engineering Manager, Fulfilment, and is based onsite in Jakarta.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Develop mobile components using Swift to improve the Grab Driver App's availability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with backend teams to build modular components and scalable APIs, and contribute to performance optimization.
• Work with product teams to define features, build prototypes, and design experiments.
• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high standards and explore new architectures.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• At least 3 years of mobile application development experience.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
• Experience maintaining large-scale mobile applications.
• Familiarity with real-time communication between mobile apps and backend systems.
• Ability to profile and optimize application performance.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for development and deployment.
