Job summary

ShopBack Group is seeking a motivated junior mobile developer to join our engineering team in Jakarta. You will contribute across the full mobile development lifecycle, from design to deployment, building robust apps and maintaining code quality.

We value learners who can adapt quickly, work well with teammates, and bring AI tool usage to improve workflows and productivity. A 6-month minimum commitment for full-time interns is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/SE or related field.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms).
• Experience with at least one mobile development tech (iOS/Android/cross-platform).
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Essentials to Succeed

• Current students pursuing a Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (4th-year students or fresh graduates).
• Strong understanding of Software Engineering fundamentals (Data Structures, Algorithms).
• Has experience with one or more mobile development technologies, such as:
  • iOS: Swift, Objective-C
  • Android: Kotlin, Java
  • Cross-platform: Flutter, React Native
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced environment.
• AI Competency: Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) to develop new or improve workflows, enhance productivity, and drive efficiency at scale.
• Minimum commitment period of 6 months, full-time.
