As a Developer, you will be part of a cross-functional Agile team building modern, scalable software solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining application features using AL code, working with senior developers and architects to implement well-structured and secure systems. You will also participate in planning and design activities, continuously improving your technical skills while contributing to the team’s success.

Job Responsibilities

Business Central Development:

• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested AL code in line with Business Central development standards.
• Implement application features and enhancements within the Quantios Core ISV solution.
• Assist in developing integrations between Business Central and other enterprise systems via APIs and web services.
  
  

Agile Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other developers to refine backlog items, estimate work, and plan sprints.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders, contributing to a transparent and collaborative work environment.
  
  

Code Quality And Testing

• Write unit tests and assist with integration and automated test suites where applicable.
• Participate in peer code reviews and apply feedback to improve code quality.
• Follow established development and security standards and help identify opportunities for improvement.

• Stay current with emerging features in Business Central, AL development practices, and integration patterns.
• Learn from senior team members and mentors while taking ownership of your personal development.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in software development, including experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV) is a MUST.
• Proficiency in AL programming language; familiarity with Business Central architecture and customization.
• Understanding of APIs, web services, and integration with external systems.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and secure coding practices.
• Desire to deepen knowledge of Business Central’s financial and operational modules, and contribute to ISV solutions in a complex domain.
• This position is open to Malaysian citizens or individuals with the legal right to work in Malaysia.
