Job summary

McEasy is seeking a Software Engineer to join our growth-focused team in Surabaya. You will design and develop new features based on product requirements, contribute to API contracts, and build scalable backend services using Go and/or TypeScript.

You will also design database schemas, write tests, and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and performance. The role emphasizes fast delivery and reliable, secure backend systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 1–3 years backend development experience.
• Experience with Go and/or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with Git.

What will you do?

• Design and develop new features based on requirements from the Product team
• Contribute to database schema design and API contract design
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services that are scalable, secure, and performant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience in backend development
• Strong experience in backend development using Go and/or TypeScript
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis
• Proficiency with version control tools such as Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge/experience with Vue.js
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with Docker
• Familiarity with message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Knowledge or experience in the order/logistics domain
