Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Social Media Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive social media strategies aligned with marketing objectives. Create engaging content, set campaign goals, and establish KPIs.
  • Define experimentation framework: Collaborate with marketing analytics to develop an experimentation framework that aligns with Amar Bank’s culture of innovation.
  • Team Management: Supervise social media specialists, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality work and target achievement.
  • Stay abreast of AI tools relevant to social media for content and analytics, motivating the team to gain hands-on experience.
  • Content Creation and Curation: Work with the content team to create compelling content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/Thread, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Community Engagement: Foster an active online community by interacting with followers, responding to comments/messages, and addressing inquiries.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor metrics, analyze data to optimize campaigns, and report performance to management.
  • Stay Current with Social Media Trends: Keep updated on trends, tools, and best practices to maintain an innovative strategy.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments: Coordinate with marketing, design, PR, IR, and business teams to align efforts.
  • Crisis Management: Work with PR to prepare and implement crisis response plans for social media.
  • Paid Advertising: Experience in managing paid social media campaigns is desirable.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in social media marketing, with successful channel management and growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in developing social media strategies and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (Meta, TikTok Analytics, Emplifi, Buffer, Brandwatch, etc.).
  • Understanding of SEO and content marketing principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design and aesthetics.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving social media trends and algorithms.

Experience in the creative industry is a plus.
