Social Media Strategist

About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Strategist to join our dynamic team at WALC. As our Social Media Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative social media campaigns that drive engagement, build brand awareness, and ultimately support our business objectives. This is a full-time position based in West Jakarta, Jakarta.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Walc Official's overall marketing and business goals.
2. Create engaging, high-quality content for WALC's social media channels, including Instagram and TikTok.
3. Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns, using insights to optimize future activities.
4. Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
5. Manage and respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media in a timely and professional manner.
6. Assist in the planning and execution of social media-driven events and promotions.

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in managing social media for fashion, sportswear, or lifestyle brands (min. 1.5 years).
2. Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms, including trends, analytics, and algorithms.
3. Creative content creation skills (copywriting, basic graphic design, photography, video editing is a plus).
4. Ability to plan and execute engaging campaigns that align with WALC’s brand identity.
5. Strong communication skills and ability to interact with the community.
6. Passion for sports, fashion, and an active lifestyle.
7. Based in Jakarta (preferred) OR able to relocate to Jakarta to collaborate with the team for content shoots and activations.
8. Able to work with Google Sheets and Google Slides.
9. It is a plus point if you are able to work with Canva, Capcut, Photoshop, Final Cut / Adobe Premiere.
