Social Media Specialist KG Media

Job Responsibilities

1. Plan, produce, and edit short-form video content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) from ideation to publishing, ensuring high engagement and virality.
2. Write compelling scripts, captions, headlines, and hooks that capture audience attention within the first few seconds.
3. Use data-driven insights to analyze content performance and continuously optimize future content strategies.
4. Edit videos using mobile apps like CapCut, Canva, or similar tools while ensuring high visual appeal.
5. Design simple but effective graphics using Canva or equivalent tools to support video content.
6. Be comfortable appearing on camera as a talent when needed to enhance engagement.
7. Stay up-to-date with social media trends and adapt strategies to ensure content remains fresh and relevant.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in social media, media, agency, or creative industries.
3. Proven experience in creating high-performing short-form videos (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) with strong engagement.
4. Excellent storytelling and copywriting skills – able to craft compelling captions, scripts, headlines, and hooks.
5. Strong visual sense and basic graphic design skills (Canva or equivalent tools).
6. Proficiency in video editing using mobile apps like CapCut, Canva, or similar.
7. Understanding of social media trends and algorithms, with the ability to optimize content for virality.
8. Comfortable appearing on camera if required for content engagement.
9. Strong analytical mindset – ability to track, analyze, and improve content performance using social media insights.
10. Flexible and adaptable, willing to work weekends or outside regular hours if needed (with prior arrangement).
